This Nordstrom is a 145,000 square foot, three level store with designer boutiques, a dedicated beauty experience area, and a full-service restaurant and bar. The design was rolled out in 2017 during Nordstrom’s initiative to rebrand their stores with architects CallisonRTKL. Located in San Diego, California, Nordstrom La Jolla At Westfield UTC features a new ventilated façade using Porcelanosa’s porcelain panels.

The building is covered in 5,000 square feet of Morse White porcelain panels. This particular color was chosen because it correlates well with the other facade materials and complements the brand concept. The carefully crafted small porcelain layout creates an intriguing pattern and give the porcelain panels a woven look.
